Guidelines for Book reviewers

  1. The word count is flexible but between 200-700 words would be acceptable.
  2. The deadline for the next issue of Signpost is usually 8 weeks before publication date.
  3. As a non-profit journal we are unable to offer financial payments, but all contributors are offered a year's free subscription to Signpost with our thanks.
  4. Preferably, articles should be submitted both as hard copy and on disk, or by e-mail to Signpost
  5. Copies of reviews are sent to the publishers of reviewed books.
  6. Reviews are also published on the Signpost website.
  7. Once a book has been reviewed, we ask that it be returned for inclusion in our specialist library, as we depend on review copies to keep our specialist library up to date.

Should you wish to review other books for Signpost, inquire about later deadlines or contribute an article, please do not hesitate to contact Signpost.
